Usher Ties the Knot in Las Vegas

It seems like Usher had more than just a Super Bowl halftime show to celebrate over the weekend. According to reports from People, the talented R&B star, aged 45, exchanged vows with music executive Jennifer Goicoechea in a charming ceremony held in Las Vegas. The news came after Usher and Goicoechea obtained a marriage license in Vegas just days before his much-anticipated performance.

Usher hinted at the possibility of a secret wedding in an interview with People, stating, “It wouldn’t be odd for us to get married. We already did here. You know what I’m saying?”

The Post-Performance Celebration

While there has been no official confirmation from the court regarding the marriage certificate, reports suggest that the ceremony took place over the weekend. Usher and Goicoechea were spotted at his post-show and album-release party in matching white outfits.

At the star-studded event, Usher donned a stylish black suit paired with a full-length white fur coat, while Goicoechea looked stunning in wide-leg pants and an off-the-shoulder belted jacket.

A New Chapter for Usher

Usher was seen sporting a gold band on his left ring finger at Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace Super Bowl after-party, sparking further speculation about the secret wedding. Usher and Goicoechea have been together since 2018 and share two children. Usher also has two sons from a previous marriage.

Speaking about his relationship with Goicoechea, Usher expressed his admiration, saying, “Listen, when you find someone that you know is a great partner, of course it is an honor and a pleasure to be able to share life with someone who wants to share it with you and loves you, who you are.”
