Memorable Dries Van Noten Pieces
I remember the first piece of Dries Van Noten I ever purchased. It was for my honeymoon in the south of France, and I bought it at Barneys. It was this incredible slate gray skirt with this beautiful orange iridescent embroidery all over it, and 24 years later, I still have that skirt in my closet.
Some other special Dries Van Noten pieces include:
- A black and white embroidered top worn to the first restaurant post-Covid lockdown.
- A black and red cocktail dress worn to numerous cocktail parties over the years.
- A ’20s fringe dress worn for a significant birthday during Covid and later at the Met Gala in 2022.
