Carey Mulligan’s Oscar’s Gift To Herself Was This At-Home Laser Treatment
Earlier this year, Maestro actor (and November cover star) Carey Mulligan took us along as she got ready for the 29th annual Critics Choice Awards. This morning, she’s taking us along for something much more high-stakes: a parent-teacher conference.
“We’re not going to the Met Ball!” she jokes about the incredibly relaxed skincare and makeup routine. Mulligan’s easy routine is filled with products from her esthetician Keren Bartov’s line, no-makeup makeup favorites from Sisley Paris, and one very fancy gift she bought herself a few years ago in anticipation of the Oscars.
“It’s three lasers in one,” she says of the Lyma laser, adding that she used it recently as an at-home treatment for a scar. “It’s going away!” After some sunscreen, a little brow gel, and the viral Olaplex hair oil, she’s ready to go meet with the teacher.
“Look at me being presentable for the parent-teacher conference!” she jokes. “It could impact my child’s academic future.”
